Nothing makes us happier than seeing our rescued cats find their forever homes. Here are some heartwarming stories of cats who have been adopted from CDCR over the years.
Violet
Check out this absolute angel! Violet is very playful and fun and loves to explore. She is a friendly and sweet girlie who found her forever home with another cat that she has become friends with. She loves to play with her foster family and settled in brilliantly.
Freyr and Hela
Spayed, chipped and vaccinated, these gorgeous cats were just 10 months old, they're super friendly and affectionate and had lived in a home with children. Their foster mum Louisa said they're such easy going girls who would absolutely blossom in a home of their own. Black cats are always harder to rehome, such a shame as they have huge personalities and these beauties are no exception! We're delighted that we managed to find them their forever home.
Queenie
After 12 years and many kittens, the lovely Queenie was spayed. Sadly her wound developed an infection so we had to keep her longer than we expected but eventually she was returned to the stables. It was delightful to see her reunited with her daughter Macey. However, we think the mice who moved in while she was away will not be so pleased to see her! Have a lovely life ladies.
Weasley
When you give a cat a great forever home there’s no end of these little moments that make you smile. Our popular young adopted cat Weasley here taking a nap amongst the toys on the top of the wardrobe bless him, he's so cute he blends right in.
Luca and Super Cooper
We knew they were close ... Luca and Super Cooper having a snuggle in their forever home after being adopted together.
Klaus
Just look at handsome Klaus settling into his new home, how happy does he look? His new family say he's doing really well, taking everything in his stride, including meeting their Jack Russell terrier! Huge thanks to Ruth and her family for giving Klaus such a wonderful home. Enjoy the rest of your life gorgeous boy!
Sebastian
Gorgeous Sebastian here showing how happy he is in his new home, which he shares with his friend Tobias (an Tinker, an old lady who's not so enamoured with him yet, but he keeps Tobias away from her so she's cool with it). Thank you Nicky & Angela for giving Sebastian his 5* home!
